We recently posted a Stock Count Schedule unfortunately the user made some changes manually to the variance batch by zeroing off the quantity of an item. The line was not deleted, the batch was posted but the user did not realize there was an error message relative to the zero quantity.
It was posted a second time, in this instance the user saw the problem, when I checked there were two audit trail numbers, the items with quantities were duplicated.
Has anyone seen this before? Is this normal, if there is an error in a batch it should not have posted?
