Copying data from a budget model to a budget register entry

Hello,
 
I wondering if it's possible to copy data from a budget model i.e. OrigBud to a new budget model i.e. Forecast or alternatively to a budget register entry. I can then manual edit individuals line items before posting.
 
I'm asking because I would rather not use Data Management and upload via excel. 
 
I would like to extract the data from 'Budget register entries by dimension set' however only the totals for each dimension are displayed i.e. not the dates.
