Incorrect financial dimensions in transaction

Hi,

I encounter an error while posting an invoice proposal. AX uses the automatic transaction ledger for "foreign exchange loss" but inputs the project's financial dimensions instead of the dimensions fixed in the chart of accounts.

The error when posting is : "account structure xxx P&L for the combinasion xxxxxx not valid for ledger".

The only advanced rules for this ledger account are "project mandatory" and "subsector mandatory".

Do you know if there is a parameter to setup so that AX uses the COA's financial dimensions and not the project's financial dimensions?

Is the findim that you setup at the main account level 'fixed'?

Can you share the setup for your account that is affected by this?

The same problem happens on several accounts.

As an example : "foreign exchange loss" account has the following financial dimensions (fixed) :

When I try posting an invoice proposal, the financial dimensions used on this account are the one of the project:

Hello NellyG,

The error message says that the combination is not valid.

This seems to be an issue related to the account structure, which does not allow posting with this combination of main account and findims.

Have you double checked that?

In addition, can you see the fixed/not fixed checkbox in your account setup.
