Hide the unwanted value for EnumComboBoxControl

Hi all, currently I want to achieve for hiding the unwanted values in the enum combo box list. I have tried using the delete() and SysFormEnumComboBox to hide the value but neither of this solution work for me. When I used delete() approach, it will delete that record value that I deleted with that method in the grid view.

The highlighted is the enum combo box that I wanted to hide the value.

is there any other way to do it?

Moved from Integration, Dataverse, and general topics forum.

Finding bugs in your code isn't easy if you don't share the code. But your statement When I used delete() approach, it will delete that record value suggests that you're calling delete() method of a table buffer, not delete() method of the combobox control.

thanks for the reply. I sorry for insufficient info. This is the context.

Currently I want to hide the unwanted value for the enum combo box control like below.

I have tried the solution of using the delete() method which success in ax 2012, however it seems not work as I expected in 365fo. As you can below when I use the delete() method, in my form it will blank the record value which the value that I deleted.

Don't the lines have the Completed status? You've just removed the value from the combobox. If it's the case of Completed, you must decide whether you want to have it there or remove it; you can't have both situations at the same time.

Maybe we should forget implementation details for a moment and look at the actual business requirements. What is the business problem you're trying to address by your implementation?

Hi , for my business objective, currently the form will show the list of the record of current status of the e-invoices. The implementation that I tried to achieve is to allow the user to change the record status of "completed" to other status which is "open" and "submitted" only, other than that need to hide.  Initially, the record field is not editable, when the status of the record is "completed", the system will allow user to edit and select other status that mentioned.

Then your code isn't suitable for your requirement.

I suggest keeping the field read-only and adding a (drop) dialog for the status change, as in batch jobs, for instance.
