Hi All,

I have a requirement to add a "interest Rate" field to customer form for calculate customer interest. Please find the below screen shots.

I have to skip the "Monthly Interest %" and calculate the interest through the new field whatever i created in the custTable form-->Payment default    -->Payment I tried to customize the RunBase class "CustInterestCreate" method InterestPercent, --> the calculation done from this class method, but the code was not reflected i tried to debug but the debugger also not working in runbase class

I tried to debug in visual studio its working but the customization of ax 2012 class "CustInterestCreate"  code is not affected in visual studio.

    Hi,

In the customer posting profile you can setup an interest code for each line. If each customer has a different interest code you only need to add them in your posting profile and you have a customer specific interest calculation.

This might be a awkward setup but if you do this with the dixf then this is something that can be achieved without making a system modification.

    Best regards

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

    Thanks for response.

Yes, you are right. I have a client requirement to modify the interest calculation for customer and show up in the report.

can you please share your idea how we can achieve this.

    Hello baduro,

If I understand this correctly then you want to have some customer specific interest calculation. Is that right?

Assuming that this is what you want to achieve, why do you need a system modification for that?

    Best regards

    Ludwig
