Hello eveyrone

I am a a new bee trying to get my head around concepts of Service Scheduling  I have few questions on the core concepts on ho scheduling works at backend  to connect the dots properly. Kindly assist me .

1. In service scheduling , is a Resource Requirement(RR) automatically created on creation or service activity ( Field service -  i know that on creation of work order a RR is automatically created but for Customer service it is to getting created- is this OOB auto or a flow needs to be written for it ?)

2. Service Requirement has 1 :N relation with RR ( these RR are visible on schedule board to schedule ).Service  record also has 1: N  RR/ Requirement groups

Question - what is the difference with real time example between the two relation? with use cases  - which is considered by Scheduling assistant he searching for relevant resources RR from service activity or RR/RG from Service record and why ?

3. Say there is a service activity created - bike service - SR 1 which has 2 RR ( RR1- Technician ) and RR2 - equipment.

Question -  Why both (Unscheduled Service Activity and Resource requirement both are shown in requirement panel on schedule board  ?  Book button is on service Activity and what would be the difference  between the two while scheduling service activity vs RR of that service activity - when to choose what ?

I understand as they both in my example means the same thing RR's for a service activity or Service activity itself )

I do know all the definitions what they and their use it but i am getting confused between  why redundant tables use and their differences schedule board - what would be the different scenario  usage.

Help is much much appreciated
