There are some issues when calling NAV Web services for example when using a Javascript client. Is there any plan to allow changes in the Web services configuration so we can easily use them without complicated workarounds like this blog post, where some browsers have issues?

Hi,
There is no update since this post web services in JavaScript. The current trend is, using Javascript / C# Control Add-ins to connect external applications and integrate.
Vjeko has done a stunning presentation in NAVTechDays 2015. You can find it in mibuso archives.
To asnwer your question, not so much updates, but control add-ins are definitely worth trying.
