Email Campaigns Failed After Batch of 20

Hello,

I've run plenty of quick campaigns before with 500+ emails and yet yesterday when I did so, it got stuck after the first batch of 20. After several hours it managed another 6 very randomly, but clearly there is a flaw. I've seen a similar post with no answer: https://community.dynamics.com/crm/f/microsoft-dynamics-crm-forum/269862/email-campaigns-fail-after-20-recipients

But I know as recently as two weeks ago I was successfully running quick campaigns to hundreds of contacts.

I could see the "ActivityPropagation" process running several times a minute in the system jobs, but it is not producing any emails. As such, I deactivated the "ActivityPropagation" process in customisations as the only means of stopping the process trying to run. By the time I had done this, it had already tried many more batches of 20 than would have amounted to the c500 emails I was trying to send.

I re-activated the process and then tried the Quick Campaign again today, but it is the same issue again... Stuck on 20.

Incidentally, I tried running a QC for 21 dummy contacts and it did send all 21 (albeit with a bit of a delay on the last one). Does this sound like a resources issue?? Surely it would be saying "Waiting for Resources" rather than "Succeeded" in the system jobs section.

Thanks very much - any thoughts VERY welcome.

    Hi,

    You should contact Microsoft Support.

Personally I wouldn't use quick campaigns to send out large numbers of emails in bulk to prevent the whole mail domain to be blacklisted. I would use a marketing solution like Dynamics 365 Marketing for this instead.
