We require two different detail line type. For example one detail has a record identified 060 and the other one has a record identifier of 070. In the drop down where we select Trailer, Header, Detail etc.. we only have one option for Detail.
Please let me know if this is possible and if so "how is this one"
Thanks
With customization can be done.
Typically a standard NACHA EFT format requires the check/payment information on the DETAIL line, and the invoice detail in the ADDENDA line which is usually optional. So you can map the ADDENDA line to get invoice information. Note that the system will print each invoice that makes up the payment on its own addenda line, so if 6 invoices make up the payment, there will be one Detail line and 6 addenda lines. As many addenda lines will print below each detail line as needed. Suggestions on how to map the invoice number and amount fields in the Addenda line are outlined in this KB:

Hope that helps.

The bank expects two lines in the file, one line with record identifier 060 with payment and check information (which I have already accomplished) and another line with record identifier 070 with invoice information. I assume that the only way I can achieve having two lines in the file is through customization. Please confirm. Thanks
Hello Brig,
There is only one detail line in the file as you stated, so you are correct. What does the record identifier mean in the detail line? Where is it pulling from? Does it change per invoice, or per vendor? If it is per vendor, you can put it on a field that is not used in the vendor master file and then map to that field on to the EFT file. If it is per invoice or bank account or a conditional field, then you likely cannot do it. The EFT file is based on the 'payment' so you can only get to information on the payment, and are limited to information on the invoice that is in the 'apply table'. And there are no 'if/then' setups in GP.
So likely you won't be able to do this without a dexterity customization if it is a conditional field.
Thanks
