Hi,

I got in one tab different tab pages (style fast tabs) and on one of them a grid. I would like to jump from this grid in a tab page to another tab page (of the same tab) changing the contents of this tab page according to the field marked in the grid.

(It is a customer with seperat siblings and I would like to see the contact details when selecting one of them in the grid.)

I worked on overiding the double click. But I cannot find a way to activate the details' tab with the new dataset (of the contact).

I use the one table with two added data sources in the form to make the joins in the grid.

Any ideas?

    I'm not sure I understood your question:

    - Weren't you able to activate the details tabpage

    or

    - You were able to activate the details tabpage, but you need to change the data in the fields inside it?

    I think I was not able to activate the details tab (which is supposed to show the new data set then).

    This one worked for jumping from  Tab Page to TabePage in normal mode but not from Fast Tabs-kind of Tab Pages. I would like to jump into the fast tab above.

    For fast tabs you can substitute the activate() for expand(). I attached a little test form to this reply.

    Cool. the tab is now activated. Thanks! But: I need it to be activated with the dataset from the grid...

    If your datasources are joined the fields will be automatically updated. You just have to make sure the controls refer to the correct datasource (Datasource and Datafield properties).

    Check the project I attached, the controls in the second tab update automatically when you change the record in the grid.
