Azure Pipeline - Unable to Copy Environment

I am attempting to create a pipeline that will reset a target environment.  However, I am receiving this error: 

Get-CrmInstances : Object reference not set to an instance of an object

    Have you tested this using powershell? just to validate it can connect properly to the Dynamics instances.   Also, please verify if these other commands work on your side: docs.microsoft.com/.../get-adminpowerappenvironment
