How to retrieve and show data in a field from another field?

So I have this field Placement.

and I want it to be populated with the data from the initial placement, from here, this ID. Can it be done? I am quite new on dynamics and I read all week but can not seem to make it work.

can anyone help or at least give a suggestion?

Hi DiCoDa,

Create 'Workflow'/ 'Power Automate'. Below are the steps for the workflow

Navigate to the advanced setting from the make.powerapps.com

Navigate to Processes

Click on New

Create Proces

Process name: Column column value from the child table to the parent table

Category: Workflow

Entity: initial placement

Run this workflow in the background (recommended): It all depends on you. If you want immediate results then disable it

Click OK

Add Step and then Update Record

Do not forget the power of these triggers

Select the parent table from the list

Click on Set Properties

Select Placement column

In the 'look for' select the mapping column

Click on add

Click on OK

Click on Save and Close

Activate the workflow

The second option i to create a new rollup column
