Hi Everyone,

What is the use of /SRSAnalysisEnums/ Table and how to add custom Enum values in this table.

Can someone help me on this!

    "The SRSAnalysisEnums table contains the base enumeration metadata that is necessary for the generation and update of the SQL Server Analysis Services projects."- This is the developer documentation added to the table.
    This is the table used by the Microsoft for internal purpose, I guess.
    Why you want to add custom Enum in this table?

    Hi Rubalingam, This table stores base enum values and names. Base enum values are stored as Integer but when using it in 3rd party say for reporting then we need labels instead of integer value. This table can be used in such scenarios, we have used it in Power BI reports (with BYOD data).

    My understanding is that it stores only standard base enums and custom enums are not stored in it. You can create custom table if required to store custom enum name and values if required to use in some 3rd party integration.
