OneBox VM update to 10.0.30 fails with file in use

 Hello,

 Just wondering if anyone tried to update their OneBox instance to 10.0.30 and if they encounter the same issue of getting at step 20

The process cannot access the file 'C:\OneBoxUpdate\RunbookWorkingFolder\Up11150135-runbook\D365FO12\AOSService\20\Log\install-AXpackages_11152022015518-dynamicsax-applicationfoundation.7.0.6592.33-error.log' because it is being used by another process.

Looking for the process, I get that 7za.exe is locking that file, but I am not sure why (I have not started to debug the script file ... yet).

 Ideas? Thx!

    One-box machines are like recyclable machines; sometimes, it is better to recreate them again instead of figuring out what's happening.

    Thanks for the answer and suggestion, but I have tried it on two VMs and it fails with the message. I am not thinking that is something wrong with the package, instead something with the machines (like Updates missing - however I have my Windows updates up2date).

    So, to conclude on the fix that worked for me. It wasn't the full Windows updates being installed or starting with a fresh machine. Turns out that the problem in my case was related to the fact that I was starting the AXUpdateInstaller process from within a Powershell (building an automated update of the machine to the latest PU), because when I started to troubleshoot the issue and ran the process manually from a cmd it worked.
