Is Microsoft GP 2013 compatible with Office 365

"So, our credit department I guess used to be able to print to word using office 2013. We upgraded to Office 365 and are getting the errors below. I have everything associated with word; I am just not sure if our version works with 365." Anyone have any input on this issue? Is Microsoft GP 2013 just incompatible with Office 365?

As an added note, this is what I found in the GP 2013 setup guide:

The following components also must be installed before you can install Microsoft Dynamics GP.

    • Microsoft Application Error Reporting 11.0

    • Open XML SDK 2.0 for Microsoft Office

    • Microsoft Lync 2010 SDK Runtime

.... (among another list of products)

Also, in regards to Word Templates, this is what is required to make it work:

    • Visual Studio Tools for Office Runtime 2.0 or later—Visual Studio Tools for
Office Runtime 3.0 is installed with Microsoft Dynamics GP Add-in for
    Microsoft Word

As for e-mailing out of GP 2013, those where the restrictions:

O365 isn't officially supported with GP 2013, as IMHO that version of GP was release way before O365 was even an option to use in Office...

Now, from the practical side, I won't see why O365 locally installed apps wouldn't work with GP 2013, but there might be some caveat, as older Office 2010 & 2013 apps used to install libraries that were required by GP 2013 (i.e. SmartList exports to Excel), and that might not work anymore if not using the latest build of GP. Some of the missing libraries can be supplemented by separate download to make SL export to Excel work. I'd have to dig up my old notes about which ones those were.

My old GP 2013 requirement sheets clearly shows the Office compatibility limited to 2010 & 2013:

    Microsoft Office:
    Microsoft Office 2013 32bit & x64
    Microsoft Office 2010 32bit & x64.

    Hope that helps.
