Good afternoon, we are activating the Teams dialer in a client but when it comes to making incoming calls it is not identifying the contact who is doing it. The problem is that in the phone number field these contacts have a country code and are followed by the specific number of the contact. When the contact's call comes in, the number displayed on the pop-up only takes into account the contact specific number, not including the prefix, and therefore we believe that is why dynamics is not identifying the contact in Dynamics when calling. Is there a way for the Teams dialer to take into account the country code prefix so it can detect the contact calling?
Hi, According to the description in the Microsoft Official documentation, the caller's name is automatically displayed when the phone number is associated with the record. "For example, Kenny Smith is a lead and has the mobile number +1 123 456 7890 associated with their record. When you receive a call from +1 123 456 7890, the name Kenny Smith is automatically displayed." The link to documentation is as follows. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/sales/call-using-microsoft-teams Therefore, we determine that this could be a problem with your Teams dialer configuration. You can check your Teams dialer configuration. Best Regards, Rudy Zhang
