Grouping symbol for numbers doesn't work correctly

Hi!

Our Dynamics 365 uses locale settings for German (Germany). For digit grouping that means that . is the grouping symbol and , the decimal seperator. But now I'm facing a proble. When using . as a grouping symbol for entering numbers in a decimal field the . will be automatically converted into , Especially when pasting numbers into the CRM into such fields the results are wrong numbers.

When I switch to an english locale everythings works as expected. , can be used as grouping symbol and . for decimal seperator. Nothings gets automatically changed.

Are there any other settings which could get in conflict with the system setting? Is it an automatism which can be changed somewhere else?

Looking forward for some ideas how to solve this.

as far as I know these settings are available in format tab under system settings (these can be set system wide or personnel for specific user as well)

I suggest please play around with these settings and see you can resolve this issue ...
