Item requirement on internal project

Hi All,

I have observed that we can't create an item requierment for internal/ investment project until we have a customer on it. If we go with this approach and select a dummy customer account, then system will allow us to create a item requirement but along with this, it also creates a sales order for same customer.

Would like to know if it has any impact on customer balances or accounting impact because anyways we are not going to bill these transactions to the customer being a internal project.

Is there any other way to create item demand from internal/ investment project without specifiying customer account.

Hi Nakul,

The sales order created is an internal one that has the type 'item requirement' stated in the header.

It cannot be invoiced and does not impact your customer balances.
