Picking List Registration (Default Location)

Is it possible to default the LOCATION when processing the Picking List Registration?

There is a LOCATION on the SO line, but this does not default in the Picking List Registration screen..

Hello James Solomon,

Have you checked if you set the Location active in item storage dimension groups form; then it is working or not?

But if any transactions are already recorded with this storage dimension, then system will not allow to update this. You may need to create a new storage dimension groups for the item and then set the "Location" active with other parameters.

After that, you may need to set the old item blocked from all type of transactions (provided that there is no on hand quantity available). And then create a similar item and add this new storage dimension in that new item in "All products and product masters" form.

Thanks for the reply, Sourav.

Unfortunately I already have that setup.. I have setup the default location on the Warehouse setup, which works great on the SO line, but not in the Picking List registration.

Hello James Solomon,

Have you checked in the Warehouse management if anything can be helpful related to "Location" setups?

Better have a look there and if possible, do some setups in this module for locations.

Also, please check below link (though this is based on AX2012) if this helps.

Also; please try enabling this new feature Additional location zone available in Feature management added by MS if something this can be helpful to you. We have recently provisioned Ver10.0.9 and PU33 in a client and found this. Though we have not activated this as warehouse management is not being used by the client.
