Dear community,
we are a mid size non profit organization and planning to introduce dynamics marketing/ sales. Our use cases are focusing mainly on the marketing functions. We do not have Sales and only very basic lead process. From licensing point of view the marketing standalone options is therefore quite attractive for us.
Do we have to expect any limitations using the standalone marketing version? Especially in outlook / teams / SharePoint Integration and furthermore in the Dataverse connection to / from business central (eg display sales orders with an organization)?
Thanks a lot for your feedback!
Regards, Ralf

Your answer helps me a lot.

Hi Ralf_WiFa,
Restrictions on marketing are mainly quota restrictions on licenses:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/quota-management
In addition, there are only four types of social posts available:
outlook:
Dynamic 365 can be synchronized with outlook, independent of marketing licenses. You can use marketing to design many special emails and also create many out-of-the-box campaigns.
teams:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/teams-webinar
SharePoint:
SharePoint doesn't have a lot of interaction with marketing, but we can connect dynamic with SharePoint to use it
business central:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/marketing-campaigns
If they are in same environment, the data can be shared by Dataverse (The data are stored in tables)
