Hey,
we are currently facing a legal requirement challenge.
Our client would like to use both the LinkedIn Salves Navigator feature and within the D365 Marketing module the LinkedIn Lead Gen feature. Now the legal department mentioned that without consent we are not GDRP compliant based on article 45 . Basically what happens is that LinkedIn queries the CRM data and processes / stores it within servers located in US. Data transfer from a EU country to a none EU country
LinkedIn's services require data to flow from the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA), and Switzerland to the United States (U.S.) and back. To ensure that EU personal data is protected when transferred outside the EU, the General Data Protection Regulation mandates that such transfers take place using certain legal mechanisms described on the EU Commission’s website.

Did anyone experience a similar situation and maybe has some tips & tricks to handle it? Maybe if there are settings within LinkedIn to modify the synch or something.
Best regards,
Mario
