Physical Inventory Journal - Bulk Entry

I currently run a Physical Inventory Journal for 4 Warehouses (I use location)... Each location has around 1000 SKUs with inventory.

This means I have 4000+ lines and Edit in Excel is not there!!

1. Our Dimension is mandatory (site), this means I have to copy and paste 4000+ lines either Site1 / Site2 / Site3 / Site 4

2. Rather than manually input the stock levels, how can I update in bulk.

It currently takes.me 2hrs to process a stock take.

    There are no bulk update feature in the standard system. But you do only have to handle the items where there is a difference between the calculated inventory and the physical inventory.

    If you have your physical inventory in a Excel sheet or something you could customize a routine to read that from Excel.

    Hi, There is an easy way. From Excel, you can paste it into BC.

    For example,

    Copy the rows from BC to Excel and modify the Qty.(Phys. Inventory).

     Then copy all rows.

    Select all rows in BC and press Ctrl+V.

    You will see the following information.

    Paste successfully. Sometimes you will encounter validate errors, you can reduce the fields displayed on the screen.
