after the update of 2022 wave 1, the create order button disappeared from quote form, in d365 sales professional edition ,there is a setting item to display the button ,but in d365 sales enterprise edition, how to make the button displayed again in ribbon?
if this is by design, how to close a quote as won in d365 sales enterprise edition?
thank you very much
Hi,
Make sure you have a Sales Professional Manager or System Administrator role.
In the site map, select Sales Settings.
Under Advanced Settings, select Quote Settings.
To enable creation of orders from quotes, set Enable automatic quote to order generation to Enabled.
Select Save.
Open a quote, activate it, and verify if the Create Order option is available on the command bar. You can now select Create Order to create an order based on the quote.
Is yes. Typically, you convert a quote that you have won into an order. Start with an active quote. Note that after a quote is accepted, you won't be able to revise it.
Select the Site map icon , and then select Quotes.
Select the quote you want to create an order from.
On the command bar, select Activate Quote.
At the top of the Quote form, select Create Order.
Note
In the Sales Professional app, the Create Order option is available only if your administrator has enabled creation of orders from quotes
In the Create Order dialog box, the Date Won field is set to the current date. Select a different date if required.
Add a description, and select OK.
To add products from your opportunity to your quote, select Get Products at the top of the screen, select your opportunity, and select OK.
Select Save in the lower-right corner of the screen.
