Inventory Transfer Journal only posting the issue side

Hello all,

I have a problem with AX 2012, when posting an inventory transfer journal the system is only posting one side of the transaction. The issue or "Sold" transaction. The receipt or "Purchased" transaction is not being posted.

I am only doing a transfer between locations. Same Site and warehouse.

User has done it before, but now it seems to be doing this weird action.

    Does this issue occur each and every time? Is it limited to some items or inventory dimensions?

    Hi jgrijalba,

    Can you elaborate on some details? Is your question related to a related ledger posting or the inventory transaction itself? Are you aware of customizations in your environment?

    Thanks for the response. It has been reported to only occur in some items. Others work fine.

    Below is a screenshot of the error. Notice how the transaction in the box only has one side of the inventory transfer posted in the inventory transactions. These transactions are just moving inventory from one location to another. No GL postings are generated.

    Hi,

    I would suggest that you either asks a developer to help you debugging and fixing this issue or contact the MS support for some help provided that you can replicate the problem.

    Check the item group and posting profiles for the part. See if there's anything missing.
