Visible by Default Setting Not Working

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post here so I hope I've found the correct forum / place to post. I have a field where I have set the default visibility to 'Hide' (in the new UI)

But after saving, publishing and refreshing the app and page the field is still displayed by default. I did have some business rules affecting this but have removed these to see if that helps (it doesn't). Is there something I've missed here?

Hi David,

If you hide a field in a form, and then save and publish it in the new UI, the field will not be shown in the preview.

For example, I added the Education field into the main form of Contact and hide it. It cannot be found in its original position.

The setting is for the current form only. Please check whether the position displayed by this field is the form you have set.
