Inserting data from custom table to default table.

Hi,

I have a custom form in my module and a default table in another default module. I need to insert data to default table through custom form. How can i achieve it ?

Hi,

You can add your logic on the insert method of the custom form table - Inside the method add a code to insert data into default table.

Hi, As Girish mentioned, you can write code at insert method (after super() call) of custom Table so as soon record is inserted in custom table, code to insert record in another table is triggered. Also, best to create table relations to track the data when required.
