Hide all factBoxes except two/three Forms

Hello everyone

I recently faced a task to optimize Dynamics AX. To achieve this I wanted to disable unused factboxes which is almost all except parts on two or three forms.
The strategy was to globally turn off factboxes in "System Administration->Setup->Client performance options " (field: SysClientPerf.FactBoxesEnabled) and enable parts on specific forms.
I tried to look in classes like SysFormRun and similar but found nothing that could help me to load parts despite of turned off parameter.
Is it possible to achieve this or should I look for workaround like showing directly on the form necessary information.

Thanks in advance for help.

I don't think you can enable some factboxes if you explicitly disable the whole feature. Keep it enabled and then hide those factboxes you don't want to see.

If you want to disable the factBox globally except 2/3. So you don't need the fact box functionality in AX across. you can disable from parameters. however you can create UI for those 2/3 factBox as menuitem display.

By the way, I just got a similar requirement and we've decided to disable all fact boxes we don't want (File > View > FactBoxes) for one user can copy the setup to all other users. It's stored in SysLastValue table (recordType == UtilElementType::UserSetup && elementName == 'PartSettings').

Is it possible to use some kind of "native" mechanism to copy those settings from one to another user, or do I have to write some kind of job or in general new functionality to copy those settings? I tough that by using "personalize" window I can achieve this but it doesn't seem to be truth.

This is no supported user scenario - you have to do it in code.
