In Sales and Marketing module there's an action menu item called "Confirm Sales Order" SalesFormLetter_Confirmation

Is there any way to limit access to this menu item?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Brook,

If you want to restrict access, so people will not have the option to run the confirmation, you can ensure the role will not have a privilege containing this menu item.

You can find the current privileges and create a copy from which you remove the action menu item. Then you have a new privilege, like the original, but without permissions for printing the confirmation.

Hi Andre, Thank you for your response. However, the menu item does not currently have a security/role/privilege for it (note on the picture above in Visual studio, the current permission is "NONE".

    Hi Brook,

Out of the box, the menu item is linked to a privilege Process sales order confirmation (SalesFormLetter_ConfirmationProcess). This privilege is linked to the duty Maintain sales orders (SalesOrderMaintain). I don't know why you think there is no privilege or duty for it.
