Hello and thank you in advance for your help. I am trying to figure out a way to sort my quotes list so that I can actually view the list in some meaningful way. The drop down list of available sorting options does not provide any options that allow me to easily find the quotes I am looking for and I wind up having to go through the list line by line until I find the quote I need. I would like to be able to sort the list by document date or customer name. I do not see any way to add these options to the drop down list, which includes random sort options that creates a list in random order.
I can sort by quote number, but since my company keeps changing the numbering system, I can no longer easily find the quotes I need.
If I use the advanced filter, I can look up a specific date, but I would like to view the quotes in the date they were entered. I can also look up a specific customer name, but cannot sort the names in alphabetical order.
How do I add new sorting keys to the drop down list? I am using NAV2009.
Thanks.

I have the same question (0)In NAV2009, you can sort Sales Quotes by default as following:
-Document Type,No.
-No.,Document Type
-Document Type,Sell-to Customer No.,No.
-Document Type,Combine Shipments,Bill-to Customer No.,Currency Code
-Sell-to Customer No.,External Document No.
-Document Type,Sell-to Contact No.
-Bill-to Contact No.
If you want some another way, you have to add new Key.
Unfortunately, you can sorting by all columns, only in NAV2013R2.
