Basic Warehouse handling

We would like to use very basic warehousing in our company to handle certain items like for example bottles . This means that once we recieve the items, for instance bottles, we book them as recieved , lets say in our bottle lager, then we would like this bottles , as soon as they are booked in that lager to be available for production.

What sort of setting would you tick in the location card in order to achieve that, we would like to keep it very simple. Just bin mandatory for example?

Ok thanks, then, we also mix diferent liquids like alcohol and water, is there a way that automatically different mixings go to different bins? Our approach is as it follows: when the released order has been completed we go to line>production journal and we tick the order as finished, but we are asked to choose a from production bin. Is there a chance that the system automatically chooses a bin to deposit the mixed liquid ?

Hi,

It is better not to use the advanced warehouse module. In the warehouse setup please check mark require receive and require shipment. Please use the warehouse shipment and warehouse receipt. My opinion is not to use the pick and putway.
