does not matter on which server you are going to install it. all it needed the same steps, when it will ask you for accounts of AOS or DB.

download this guide from below URL.

    www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

in addition google it. see on YouTube, I you come across any specific issue, share with us.

I want Management reporter database in Report server and then management reporter should connect with AOS server and DB server.

    Adding one more query

Also I have installed reporting services extension in report server and when trying to deploy reports it gives error message"a call to the microsoft dynamics ax ssrs framework service service failed".

For this I tried below steps:

    1)stopped reporting services.

2)deleted AUC files from report server.

    3)started reporting services.

    4)register ssrsframework,ssasframework services.

5)deploy reports again in report server.

But I am continuously getting same error.

    Kindly help.

make sure you are using DAX template for your SSRS reporting project.

Secondary, check your Report Server settings , access your manager URL & Web service URL in browser.

    101=AOS,

    102-DB,

    103-Report server

I have installed reporting services extension in 103 server. When I am trying to deploy report from management shell It gives error attached in screenshot.  I tried deploying reports from AOS server and Report server both but getting same error message.

But If i am deploying reports from AOT , reports are getting deployed successfully.

I have already tried by deleting AUC files after stoping services of AOS and reporting services.

    Please help.

I have noticed several inconsistency's when reinstalling the report server components on a machine wich previously had the components connected to another AOS. Sometimes the parameters you supply during install are ignored and the old config is used.

Allso sometimes there is a problem in the CIL, running services or WCF configuration. I have this checklist:

Please check the following on the AX server.

    • The report server configuration in AX validates.
    • The correct AOS has been supplied in the report configuration
    • There are no references to old servers\ offline instances in the sysserversessions table
    • The inbound port "BIServices" is running.
    • The business connector account has been supplied under service accounts.
    • All "services" are started (you can complete a incremental CIL)
    • The business connector has been installed.

Please check the following on the report server:

    • The report server service account is the business connector account.
    • The excecution account is blank.
    • The AX BI components are installed.
    • The ports 2712 8101 and 8201 are not blocked by the firewall (default ports)
    • In the client configuration tool the business connector iis pointed to the correct AOS and WCF can generate.
    • Users and the AX BC account have the role "DynamicsAxBrowser" in the reporting manager.

If during install you supplied a shared AXC file please check that this is still valid and accessible by the BC account.

Allso check if the references in the registry to this file is still correct (the installer boches this sometimes) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Dynamics\6.0\Configuration

!If during install you supplied the AX config directly please check that the config is still valid (the installer botches this sometimes) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Dynamics\6.0\Configuration

If you use powershell to deploy run this as admin.

When using AX to validate the report server settings. When UAC is enabled  start AX as admin.
