Sales Mobile App - deep link

Dear all,

I need to launch Sales app on mobile device (Android in my case) via a deep link.

I tested links as per https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/mobile/mobile-deep-links and was partially successful. ... I'm able to open an app on specific record - great!

However:

- ms-dynamicsxrm://... lauches the D365 for Phones and Tablets

- ms-apps://... lauches the D365 for Phones and Tablets but use PowerApps for Mobile to do so.

- ms-mobile-apps:// does nothing .. apart of error message - ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME (guessing I don't have any app registered to this targeted app parameter.)

I have the new D365 for Sales app (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/sales/sales-mobile/dynamics-365-sales-mobile-app) running as well but I cannot find what is the corresponding string to launch it.

Any suggestion on how to launch D365 Sales App on mobile device ?

THX, Daniel.

    Hi Daniel,

I've been trying to achieve the same when i came accross this post.

I too have been using ms-dynamicsxrm:// to launch the older Dynamics 365 for Phones app but wanted to switch over to the new sales app.

I was able to use ms-apps:// to launch the model driven app in Power Apps but for our use case this doesn't help.

I had a call with a Microsoft Support engineer who wasn't able to help. I'm really disappointed this isn't supported yet.

I have logged an idea for this, hopefully with enough votes Microsoft will take note. Deep Linking Dynamics 365 Sales Mobile App · Community (powerapps.com)

    Thanks

    Jason

    Hello everyone,

I’ve managed to get it working by using the Power Apps app URL pattern(https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/mobile/mobile-deep-links), but with a small tweak — I changed the URL scheme to "ms-apps-sales" instead of the default.

So the link uses the structure from the Power Apps deep link, but launches the Dynamics 365 Sales app by replacing the scheme.

If this solution works for you as well, please mark this reply as the answer 👍

    Thanks!
