Hi All,
Could anybody help me with the following situation:
I wanted to change Accounting Period from period 01.01.17-31.12.17 to 01.07.17-30.06.18. When I re-created the accounting periods, the Date locked flag was automatically set for the first month (01.07.17). Then I wanted to go back to the previous period (01.01.17 - 31.12.17), but I get an error message "Date Locked must be equal to "No" in Accounting Period: Starting Date=01.07.17. Current value is "Yes". I can't change this flag (it is not editable).
Questions:
How did this flag get set automatically?
How can I get this unlocked to change Accounting period?
Thanks in advance

Thank you for your reply, Amol
I would like to note that first I created an accounting period of 01.01.17 – 31.12.17. and there was not the check mark in the field "Date Locked". Then I was able to delete this accounting period without any problems and create a new accounting period (01.07.17 – 30.06.17)! The program gave me an opportunity to do this. But when I wanted to change accounting period again I wasn’t able to do this as the Date Locked flag was set automatically. Why was it possible to edit the accounting period for the first time?
Once accounting period is create then it can not be unlocked or modified. You can continue doing transaction in the database.
