how to get the description of financial dimension like "00,Pretty cash" i only need to display "Pretty cash" by coding X++

it displays only the second segment not the first one why??

00-02-prj000 and it only displays the name of value(02) not the name of the first part(00)

Hi Codehunter,

the example gets the name of the CostCenter Dimension only. What is your first segment?

If it is Department, you should replace CostCenter with Department in that case.

i guess you want to pass a single RecId, and in return want to get full description of dimension , inclusing all segments of dimenions. am i right?
