Error number: 1010 An error occurred displaying the transaction (AX Retail POS)

Hi All,

I am receiving ''Error number: 1010 An error occurred displaying the transaction'' on Retail POS R3-CU8 while adding Sales person to transaction by activating it from the RetailOperations Table. on the other hand event viewer is showing following error:

Can anyone help me to resolve this error and to proceed my sales transaction with sales person ID.

Please check whether the transaction service is configured correctly and service is running and also go to Account receivable ->setup->Account receivable parameters ->See the number sequence code for reference Customer account. You need to check continuous instead of manual in the selected number sequence setup.

Thanks for your answer, but this is related to sales person ID which I want to add on sales transaction at POS and they are configured as workers in AX.

Add Salesperson is one of the depreciated feature for AX 2012, which is why it was deactivated from backend. If you want to make it work - Add a new column in the Retailtransactionsalestrans by running the below query-

alter table ax.RETAILTRANSACTIONSALESTRANS add STAFF nvarchar(25)

and also add the STAFF column in the Retailtransactionsalestrans view.

Let me know if you are able to make it work.

Hi Summit,

In CU8 version this table Retailtransactionsalestrans already have column for 'Staff id'. Do we still need another for column in ax.RETAILTRANSACTIONSALESTRANS new column of STAFF nvarchar(25) and also to add the STAFF column in the Retailtransactionsalestrans view?

Yes. An additional field named STAFF is required to be created and it needs to be added to the mentioned view. STAFFID has cashier number, and STAFF is for the salesperson.

In Store DB.

Make sure you are adding the STAFF column to ax.RETAILTRANSACTIONSALESTRANS - nvarchar(25)

and also add the STAFF column in the Retailtransactionsalestrans view.

Hi,

Is this solution resolve the problem, i am getting the same. Also tell me at where do we we have to insert the data for the newly created STAFF column.or it will automaticaaly insert the STAFF value when a transaction is done ?

It worked at POS but unable to see data on AX retail Headquarter.

You mean that you want to see the salesperson in Retail transactions in Back office. Try finding the same field in the transactions.
