how TDS works in navision

Hi to all, 

I want to know how TDS works in navision. Our company is Giving service to our clients.

what is the process of calculation tds while cash receipt. Need to edit manually line for TDS in cash receipt journal?

    Hi,

    TDS is Tax Deduct at source. this tax will charged on income from service, lottery, rent, horse riding etc. It is similar to Income tax but applicable in some cases.

    Ok, thanks Rajat. Standard NAV (W1) doesn't have such functionality and we had to develop it in UK for construction industry scheme tax deductions. Although worth checking if there are any specific add-ons for this in your country / localization. If not, then manual TDS management would be adjusting cash receipt journal accordingly.
