reminder - message 'it was not possible to create reminders for some of the selected customers'

When creating reminders i get the following message. Can someone please explain what the reasons could be. You get the option to view the customers it did not create a reminder for, but not why it would not create. I have checked the customers and can find no reason for it not to create the reminder.

it is not because they are "blocked", have incorrect contact information or are missing contact information, have un-posted reminders awaiting action.

any suggestions would help

    please ignore - have found it was our accounts set-up issue that was causing the problem.

    i have the same problem right now, what is the Account set up issue. can you please let me know which section you had to correct to make this work.

    HI,

    Firstly i found that i will not create for customers where an existing reminder is created but not issued. (you would have to go and update that existing reminder and issue or delete it).

    Secondly, it does not create for Blocked "All" customers as blocked "All" does not allow ANY posting. So, blocked customers must be blocked "ship" or block "Invoice" for them to flow through reminders. You only Block "All" when you no longer want to trade with that customer.

    when i searched Block Customers it gave me the different blocking types and i forwarded this to our Finance team and they are now re-blocking customers to suit.

    I bumped into same error too, after some few testing, it is found that we need to setup at least 1 Reminder Level, then only the reminder will generate.
