Hello Community,
We needed to create a new raw item number since the setup of the original raw item was incorrect. Unfortunately, there are still open transactions and on-hand items in inventory on the original raw item so we need to exhaust all of them while using the new raw item number for any future purchases. Is there a way to block the original raw item from being further purchased as we continue to exhaust our inventory of it? We then would want to do a full block on any transaction of it once it is all flushed out of on-hand inventory.

You can stop the old raw item for further purchasing transactions.
Product information management-->Common-->Released products-->Manage inventory (action pane tab)-->Default order settings-->Purchase order tab.
