the Purchase order Type IS Journal ,and that the problem
Please Change the Purchase Order Type To Purchase Order
Hi Ravish,
Try to recall your PO, re-submit it for approval and try confirm the PO after.
Also if the PO status didn`t update, check your workflow batch jobs if they are running correctly. We had similar issue with purchase orders.

Normally Confirmation can also be done using the confirmation button
After confirmation Purchase order print out is taken for giving to the vendor

In general there is nothing wrong with having a purchase order that has the approval status 'approved' and the status 'open order'.
How does this relate to your question above that the confirmation cannot be made?

Yes we have a standard Purchase order work flow, was trying to confirm the PO thru confirmation button, two purchase orders have this issue status is open and approval status is approved

What is the current status and what is the current approval status of your PO?
Have you tried confirming the PO through the generate-confirmation button and/or the generate-confirm functionality?
Is only one single PO affected by this or many?
In case you used the generate-confirmation button, does the confirm purchase order form open? If so, is the posting checkbox active?
Do you have any standard or customized workflows setup?
