Hi,
I have installed and configured the Zetadocs Express with Archiving Service for NAV 2013 R2 and getting this error in NAV: Failed to search for documents. The reason is undefined.
There are the following servers and configuration
1. SQL server: there are multiple SQL instances installed, one for NAV and one for Zetadocs. Zetadocs Archiving service is installed and configured with dedicated domain user service account ZetaSrv. I was initially getting the 'semaphore error' when starting the service and resolved this by adding the ZetaSrv user to the local Administrators group. I added Zeta user to the local Users group first but this didn't work.
2. NAV server: NAV service tier services running with dedicated domain user service account NAVSrv. This user has granted permissions for Zetadocs SQL instance.
3. File share server: there is the Zetadocs share configured according to the installation guide. I have successfully tested writing a files to the location with ZetaSrv user manually. I have also done the Zeta service configuration for that network file share and added one new container named: Test.
Configuration in NAV seems ok and I can open the service URL in browser fine. http://192.0.0.7/ZetadocsArchive
Anybody has an idea what else to check?

This issue was solved by ensuring the ZETADOCS db instance was set to use "SQL Server and Windows authentication mode". See ZTN4381 for more information.
