Require Functionality to Read and Write to Mobile App's App Data directory without user interaction

Posted on by 156

Hi Community,

Wanted help to develop functionality that was present inside Resco Application. Inside the Resco application, we are able to read files/directories, write files and create a directory without having the involvement of user interaction.

On top of Resco we build a module that was saving and doing file management functions inside the App Data folder itself as Resco Application but we Resco App will no longer will be supported by Microsoft we have migrated and built all functionality inside Field Service Mobile App(by Microsoft) except for file management functionality.

I have used Xrm.Navigation.openFile and Xrm.Device.pickFile function completes the functional requirement but it requires a user interaction which ruins the customer experience.

Does anyone has any way to save the file in the Local file system inside a specific path with user interaction?

Note:

Link to Resco Bridge Lib: https://www.resco.net/javascript-bridge-reference/ checkout the functions section for your reference.

Thank you in Advance.
