Anyone have solution for why a marketing email looks fine in Outlook online but not Desktop outlook? See image below. Desktop is cutting/shrinking content from right side, while online version is 100% width. I am using the email builder in 365 Marketing.

Any fixes?
The issue appears even with E-Mails without images.
I used a blank template and added a single section with text only.
Hello,
I ran into a similar issue. Do you have an image in this email? It appears having images that are over 100% of their DPI (larger than they should be) may be triggering this issue. I adjusted the size of some of my banners in my emails, and the text did not appear on top of itself.
Just to add to this, we are also experiencing the same issues before and after the recent D365 marketing app update. Everything looks fine when previewing with Litmus. Our own Outlook is rendering test sends just fine. However, numerous customers have let us know that emails are jumbled. We have also created a support ticket.
As this is our main source of communicating with our contacts during the shelter-in-place, this seems like a serious misstep from the Microsoft team. We are very likely missing out on sales opportunities due to this.
Hi,
We have an ongoing issue with the appearance of Marketing emails in Outlook. The issue is that the background images do not scale completely if the DPI is set to above 100%. This one particularly is resolved in the latest available update for the marketing application. Once the application has been updated, you will need to resend the marketing emails and test.
However, we would need to perform a few tests and investigate to be able to confirm if this is the same issue. Hence, I would request you to open a Service Request with Microsoft Support.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Shaina
I have the same issue. I used the blank template and only the editor functions and it looks like this in Outlook 2016 Desktop:
I have created different mails from a blank template using only the Dynamics 365 Marketing editor. However, either the column or the containers within are not displayed at the correct width.
Update. I started over from scratch. But now it seems that Desktop Outlook wants to shrink the width by about 200px. Any thoughts?
