Budget check on budget register entries

Hello,

I did configure budgeting and setup budget control to include main account and one dimension as well.

i completed budget configuration and activated it and it turned on.

When i am inserting manually budget register entries, i am not getting green check mark resulting in faulty budget check on General journals.

can someone help? why am not getting these green check marks on budget register entries even budget is activated and turned on?

    Hi David,

    Please display the settings of the Budget control configuration and the budget register entries.

    If the settings are correct, it should work.

    Hi,

    Make sure the Main Account you have assign under Budget Account Entries line is within the Account Structure assigned in Define Paramters tab.

     Also, check your Budget Control Configuration under 'Define Budget Control Rules Tab' if it matched the Financial Dimension Set under Budget ENtries lines.

    Hi Sourav,

    i found that it is related to Budget control dimensions selected: if Main Account is selected along with department dimensions then budget register entries input should be Main Account-Department to have budget check green icon on line.

    Note: budget control should be activated before inserting budget register entries.
