    Hi,

take a look at the event viewer, it'll give more information on the cause of failure.

Often credentials or database name isn't typed correct in the Service Configuration.

    Best regards

    Marco

    Dear Dinesh,

Please verify if the port numbers provided in the service is being used in any other NAV services. if it is not, then give permissions for the database in management studio for NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE and other sql services like system and the users. this will solve your issue. worked for me. cheers :)

Check whether proper permissions given in db as well as no duplicate port is used for different services

    Dinesh,

Please check the event viewer it will give you more information, usually it happens if the user which is running the service does not have permissions on the DB or because of duplicate port.

let us know what you have in the event viewer.
