seems to be some compilation error.

hopefully you are using AX 2012, please do perform full CIL compilation.

may be this will solve the problem.

    Please varify

The problem was there is a missing value for the field in the purcLine called vendor group.

    Where is this located?

There is a field called VendGroup on the PurchLine table. It's not visible on the Purchase order form, but is if you use 'Record info' -> 'Show all fields' on the Purchase line. It shows simply as 'Group' on 'Show all fields'.

Or you could get someone with access to the AOT to take a look at the contents of the PurchLine table.

The reason I ask is I am getting a packing slip error based on sales order similar to this error.  I was wondering where I needed to go to clear this error so I can post.

please follow Guy Terry steps and also you can add the field

Open a form, and in any field, right-click and select Personalize to open the Personalization form.

In the Layout view, select the node where you will add a field.

    Click Add fields.

Select a field form the PurchLine called Vend group , and then click Add.

hope this will solve the issue for you

I saw your error. It's amazing. I never saw anything like it!

There is CustGroup field on the SalesLine table. I suppose it is too much to hope that it would fix your error, but there's no harm in checking that it is populated.
