We have multiple companies set up GP2015. We want to have vendors that are set up in one company also set up in one of the other companies. Is there a way to export the vendor information from company 1 and then import it into company 2? There are approximately 200 vendors that need to be set up in company 2. If we can avoid manual entry of the vendors into the 2nd company with an import, we would much rather do this.

For this custom code is needed. Also if you will go for small customization then each time when new vendor will get created in one company it will be replicate to other company.

If you want to create vendor record in multiple companies during run time, can be achievable via customisation.

Use professional services tools/IM/eConnect to copy the vendor records if, you are replicating existing vendor from one company to another.
