Hi Friends,
While creating order using Navision Web services i am frequently facing issue like
"The Sales Header table cannot be changed because it is locked by another user. Wait until the user is finished and then try again".
Server: Navision 2009 SP1
Webservice: Page(42) SalesOrder
Please help me to over come this issue.

please note that this is not an error , its a one of system security architecture of Microsoft dynamics
there are several option dynamics restricted to manipulation by multiple users by same time
on your option it might be 3 ways that you got this error
1. several user open same sales order at once
3. while opening the same SO by one person and some one try to post it
2. several users try to post at the same time
you can try by few second , then it will be posted , if not mean there are some one open the so while u posting

Please check if your database is running on a NAV service, if it is so, ask the users to stop data entry and restart the service that should remove the table lock.
else ask all the users to close NAV and you restart the NAV client on your machine.

This is a known issue, resulted from general NAV architecture. There might be users or processes that blocks the table from inserting new data. You can start reading here:

Check any other process is running using sales header or check anybody posting sales order
