Set user current session company in X++

Hello everyone,

Is it possible with X++ to change the current session company, just like it is done when a user select a different either from the status bar at the bottom or the navigation bar at the top of the screen?

You may change the company for the scope of a code execution block with the changecompany keyword.

community.dynamics.com/.../change-company-from-the-current-company-in-x-code

If you would like to permanently switch, why don't you take a look at the change company form's code?

\AOT\Forms\SysDataAreaSelect\Methods\closeOK and switchCompany

Found the code in the form SysDataAreaSelect, in the method SwitchCompany().

Hello,

Did you apply something like the following?

appl.setDefaultCompany('CompanyABC', false);

SysSecurity::reload(false);

SysDataAreaSelectExtension::fireDataAreaChanged();
