Hi All,
I have just deployed the Dynamics 365 Business Central Virtual Table Support solution into a demo environment and successfully linked BC to it.
I specifically want to see my BC Sales Quote and Sales Quote Lines.
Making the tables visible was really easy. I can see my quote headers under data, but when I go to the Sales Quote Lines (Virtual) table in the dataverse, I get an error:
"You must specify and Id or a Document Id to get the lines."
This makes sense as the primary key for the lines table is document No, Line No.
However, any suggestion how I make this happen? The Relationship is showing - Document Id - > SAles Quote - many-to-one.
I have tried creating/modifying views but again it shows no data. Do I need to create an app to see this?
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks
I have configured the virtual tables and all work fine except line tables (sales quote line, purchase order line etc) Basically none of the line tables are working. Relationships come predefined with the header --> line as below : Not sure what else to check. There's no error log or is there a place to find error details as currently it only says "Something went wrong"
Hi Duncs,
You will need to create a relationship using Document Id (for sales quote line) linked to Id (for sales quote) field.
Please see the below link for detailed explanation here

Also for the Power BI to Dataverse here is the link you can follow to do this.
Hi
Have you found the answer to this question? I'm trying to link BC Quotes to Dynamics Sales Opportunities using virtual tables. In this instance, Quotes are only created in BC and opportunity originate in Dataverse. The task is to add a section in Dynamics Sales opportunity and show open quotes and archived quotes in BC just using virtual tables instead of data synching
Hello,

Thanks.
Also, another query. Can I access the virtual tables via Power BI using the dataverse connector? If not, is there any way to access it? Thanks
