Marketing tracking - seeing if user status has changed after email sent

Hi there,

I have created a marketing campaign in CIJ that sends an email to leads who have made an enquiry with us but not progressed to a qualified state or not interacted with us.
 
What I want to do now is create a list of these people who are in the segment that feeds the customer journey and have been sent the 1st email, and see what their status is in the Sales app e.g. lead/qualified etc to see where they are at and if my email nurture campaign.
 
Is there a way to do this either in CIJ or Sales? 
 
I know I can see who is in the journey and I can export this data, but it doesn't give me the option to add in extra columns to see if they have progressed through the sales funnel.
 
We don't use Customer Insights - Data, which I suspect may be able to give me the answer?
